David Crist
President

David is a controller for Innercool Therapies, Inc a San Diego based medical device manufacturer. He is a Certified Management Accountant with over 15 years of financial management experience. David brings a wealth of rugby background to the Foundation. He began his rugby career in high school at Dover Heights Boys School in Sydney, Australia. Returning to the States he quickly joined the Huntington Beach Unicorns where he recruited future Aztec greats Jim Detomasi and Kevin, “Bam Bam” Perry. During David’s two years at San Diego State the team went 64-2-1 and captured the 1987 National Collegiate Championship at Pebble Beach, CA. After graduation, David joined the Old Mission Beach Athletic Club, (OMBAC), where he was an integral part of five National Champion Club teams (88, 89, 91, 93 & 94). Additionally, David captained the OMBAC Seven’s team from 1992-1994 leading the team to numerous Pacific Coast Qualifying Final appearances. David is currently the Assistant Back’s Coach for the SDSU Rugby Team. David has represented select sides for Orange County Under 21’s, San Diego County, Southern California Griffins Under 21’s and Southern California Griffins Senior Side, Pacific Coast Sevens 1992-1994 and the USA Touch team at the 1993 World Cup of Touch in Hawaii. David has toured with OMBAC to Australia and Fiji and with the Southern California Griffins to British Columbia, Canada.

David lives in Del Mar, CA with his wife Aimee and 4-year-old son Caden.
